Egrets

Our resident waterbirds are the Snowy Egrets, Reddish Egrets (dark and white morph), Great White Egrets, Cattle Egrets (not found at the beach). I am extremely grateful to be in their presence and to call them friends of my home region. In fact, the Reddish Egret is the official bird of Galveston, TX!!

Egrets are magnificent birds that require a ton of personal space. Please give it to them and they will reward you.

Next: Godwits
