Egrets

Our resident waterbirds are the Snowy Egrets, Reddish Egrets (dark and white morphs), Great White Egrets, Cattle Egrets (not usually found at the beach but rather flying overhead to the marshes and open fields). I am extremely grateful to be in their presence and to call them friends of my home region. In fact, the Reddish Egret is the official bird of Galveston, TX!!

Egrets are magnificent birds that require a ton of personal space. Please give it to them and they will reward you.
