White-rumped sandpipers

Considered a large sized sandpiper, White Rumped Sandpipers have exactly that, a white rump (which is easily identifiable in flight). They have long wings that extend to their tails and have an elegance about them due to their petite features. Very sweet, loving, gentile, delicate and friendly to all. For some reason, I don't see them very often, so it's always a treat when I do.  Until we meet again, friends!
