Happy Ocean, Happy Animals, Happy Planet, Happy Life.

Black Skimmer flock, Galveston, TX, 2024.

WHAT DRIVES ME

our ocean

our animals

our animals

We have been given but one ocean. It is our duty to respect, manage, and be good stewards of our life source because everything we do has a direct impact on our ocean's health and the wildlife that bring balance to our planet. As consumers we have the power to create real change--from the products we purchase, to the foods we consume, to what and how often we buy, and how we dispose of them.

For better or worse, the choices we make today will have lasting impacts.

our animals

Water, land, or air--all animals are welcome here. In fact, they welcomed us into their world first!  A stronger alliance among humans and animals is crucial. We are more alike than we are different. We are one spirit; points of light housed in different vessels.

We are one race: the living race.

Animal welfare, protections and the privilege of giving animals a voice to share their stories drives my wildlife photography.

our planet

our planet

My ambition is to capture images that inspire people to truly see the beauty and life that makes our planet habitable. If we get to know our regions better, then we're better able to genuinely connect to create change on a global scale. Together we can heal this living, breathing, life-sustaining planet we call home.

our future

our planet

our planet

Humans were granted dominion, not domination, over earth and its living beings.

Will I leave the planet better than I found it? That is my goal.

"I strive to create intimate, light-filled works of art that promote honesty, beauty, peace, calm and wellness; highlighting the spirit, personality and individuality of every living soul while magnifying the place they call home. "

Respecting nature and natural habitats are my priority. My photos are taken from public, unrestricted areas. I keep a respectful working distance from the animals, I allow the animals to come to me, and I work as quickly as possible to ensure their lives are not disrupted.

All wildlife were photographed in their natural habitat. No animals are considered domestic, captive, photographed in zoos, aquariums, private or commercial game farms, subject to harassment, baited, stalked, tricked, trapped, tracked, called, tagged, monitored, or harmed in any way.

My background is in Interior Design, and my photographic journey began in 2022. While I'm technically self-taught, the animals and the ocean environment are my real teachers.
