Sanderlings & Semipalmated sandpipers

My favorite little shorebird is sure to become yours, too! Sanderlings are easily identifiable by their wave-chasing foraging style.  My favorite time to hang out with them is when they're mellowed out, which is a true gift, because they're high octane 95% of the time. They're the cutest!!

(I've included Semipalmated Sandpipers with Sanderlings since they are similar species, visually close but mostly due to website limitations.)
